Eligibility Criteria :

■ Age Limit : Age of candidate must be between 20 to 32 years as on 1/01/2015. Candidates born between 02/01/1983 and 02/01/1995 shall only be eligible to apply for the post.

* Age Relaxation available : 5 years for SC/ST candidates of West Bengal. 3 years for BC-A, BC-B candidates of West Bengal. 2 years for candidates served as Govt. Servant for at least two years. Relaxasion available for Ex-Servicmen as per govt. norms.

** Only Madhyamik or Equivalent Admit Card will be valid as Date of BirthProof .

■ Educational Qualification : Candidates willing to apply for the above mentioned post must have passed Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary/10+2 Standard or equivalent. The qualification must be completed before publication the advertisement date (ie. 06/11/2015).

Salary / Pay Scale : 

This is a Group - C Post of Deputy Ranger/Forester under Pay Band - II. See below salary Structure.
■ Pay Band-II (Rs. 5,400/- - 25,200/-) Grade Pay - Rs. 2,900/-

Selection Process : 

1) Written Exam > 2) Physical Efficiency Test (PET) > 3) PhysicalMeasurement Test > 4) Personality Test/Interview.

i) Candidates shall have to appear at the Written Examination. 
ii) The candidates shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination will be called for a Physical Efficiency Test. There no marks in the Walking Test but candidate must qualify.
Physical Efficiency Test :

Walking Test
Men 25 Km in 4 Hours
Women 14 KMs in 4 Hours

iii) Candidates qualified in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will be called for the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Personality Test to be held in a single day.

Physical Measurement Test :

■ Male Candidates of all categories (except Gorkhas, Garwalies, Rajbansis and Scheduled Tribes)
Height : 163 cms
Chest : 84-89 cms with expansion of 5 cms

■ Male Candidates of Gorkhas, Garwalies, Rajbansis and Scheduled Tribes
Height : 152.5 cms
Chest : 79-84 cms with expansion of 5 cms

■ Female Candidates of all categories (except Gorkhas, Garwalies, Rajbansis and Scheduled Tribes)
Height : 150 cms
Chest : 79-84 cms with expansion of 5 cms

■ Female Candidates of Gorkhas, Garwalies, Rajbansis and Scheduled Tribe
Height : 145 cms
Chest : 74-79 cms with expansion of 5 cms

iv) Candidates Passed in Physical Measurement Test will have to appear for a Personality

Final Selection : Candidates who have qualified/cleared the steps of Test conducted for this recruitment will be finally selected as per merit basis. A merit/rank list will be prepared on the basis of Written Examination and Personality Test.
